Classifying Systems
KlingMill has invented a new system where you can separate fines from any material to a desired particle size, with a high capacity - using air in a patented system.
Technology
KlingMill's air classifier can separate dry materials into two distinct fractions using patented technology that utilizes air without the need for screen plates. Our air classifier can be used independently or in combination with our mill, depending on the needs and application. Currently, our air classifier is being used in various industries, including the separation of blasting sand, sifting stones for the sandpaper industry, and ensuring that the end customer receives the exact fraction of wood powder they require. By solely utilizing air, we can create precise fractions.
How it works
Step 01
Material is sucked in with the help of a fan.
Step 02
With the help of air and a fan wheel, the accepted fraction is inflated and the rest goes back to the mill.
Step 03
Unaccepted fraction goes through
mill yet again.
Step 04
The procedure continues until all material is accepted fraction.

What is the price?
The price depends mainly on two things, size of the mill, and what kind of material you want to put through. Please contact sales department for more detailed information.
What are the biggest challenges facing the wood milling industry today?
There has been very slow developments in finding new ways how to produce small particles direct, which have had an impact on the production lay out and cost. KlingMill opens up new ways how to handle biomass, since it can work with both wet and dry material of all kinds.
How has technology affected the wood milling industry in recent years?
The production cost has gone up, since preparing of different biomass material have been expensive. KlingMill opens up a possibility to lower the production cost.
What safety precautions are taken in wood milling operations to protect workers?
All KlingMill products are CE marked according to Machine Directive, and have ATEX certification.
How is wood sourced and processed before it is ready for milling?
KlingMill can work with all kinds of raw bio materials, but the material going into the machine must be clean, and free from none organic materials.
What types of machines are used in wood milling, and how do they work?
There are different types of machines that can be used, but the most common are hammermills of different kinds. They can only work with dry fiber, so the production cost will be higher, since
What is KlingMill, and what does it involve?
KlingMill is a new type of pulverizer, that can produce a particle under 1 mm in one step, with wet or dry raw material. That means that the lay out of a wood pellet mill can be very different from the traditional mill using the old technic. KlingMill is today the only mill that can reach 90-95% partical size under 0,5 mm, making wood dust for burning process.
