Technology
Klingmill's solution is not about hammering wood into smaller pieces in the traditional way in what is often just the first step in a long process to a finished raw material. Instead, logs are sawn directly from raw material into powder in just one step.
The saw/pulverizer itself (which replaces the hammer mill) is a lamellar system of saw blades. The raw material is fed in and 95% is pulverized directly into a fraction below X mm.

Wet raw material? Traditionally a disadvantage, with Klingmill a big advantage. Is the raw material wet? For traditional hammer mills, this is often a big no-no. Wet fibers are much more difficult to break into smaller pieces than dry ones. Therefore, the raw material must first be dried before it is hammered.
